About Us

Chris Malbrough was born and raised in Houston, TX where I grew up and enjoyed playing any sport with a ball ever since I could remember. I graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School class of 1999 and would go on to attend Texas A&M University in College Station. I obtained my bachelor of science degree in Sport Management in 2007 and entered the workforce upon graduation. A few years in and I realized I did not like working in an office setting talking on the phone all day. This is when I decided to pursue a career in firefighting.

I attended the San Jacinto College Fire Academy and finished at the top of my class. I began applying for firefighting jobs and in 2011 I began my career as a firefighter. The best job in the world! I can truly say I love my job and love going to work. In my career I have promoted twice to the rank of Captain where I am in charge of my shift at my station, the engine, and my crew. While at the fire department “side” jobs are quite common. One firefighter owned a pool service company and brought me on to service some pools. I began servicing pools in November of 2016 and worked for him until he sold his company. He taught me the ins and out of serving and problem solving pool issues. He taught me how to repair pool pumps, heaters, filters, plumbing, automation systems, lights and many others.
