Born in Corsicana, Texas in 1978, the son of a Colonel in the Army, I spent my childhood moving all over the world. My parents divorced in 1993, and I moved with my sister and mother to Spring, Texas. I graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1996. From there, I went to TEEX Fire Academy in College Station, where I obtained my fire certification and EMT training. I began working as a medic on the ambulance, as well as working as an ER tech at St. Luke’s hospital. In 2004, I decided to further pursue my education, and attended the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas. In January of 2005, I started my career with the Galveston Fire Department. Everything was falling into place. Christin the love of my life, and long time girlfriend, was also living in Galveston finishing her nursing degree. Later, that same year, in December, I married my wife, Christin. 

In July of 2006, we welcomed our first son Jonathan. Our second son, Jacob, came in May of 2008, and our third son, Joshua, came in May of 2012. Being a father is the greatest gift in the world, and our 3 boys are the most incredible blessings to my wife and me. In the fire department, it is common for firefighters to have a second job due to the numerous days off between being at the fire station. In 2020, I began working for Mel, another Galveston firefighter, who owned his own pool business. I worked for Mel until he retired from the GFD, and eventually sold the pool business to Chris and me. Chris and I are both very grateful to Mel for giving us the opportunity to build something off of the route he began in the 1980’s. Chris and I started Kraken Pool Services in January of 2023. With the pools we purchased from Mel as it’s foundation, we have been steadily adding properties to the route ever since, while adding on quality employees to our very rapidly growing business team.
